Piet Boon has been designing extraordinary interiors and exteriors since he founded his firm in 1982. The Dutch designer has worked on private homes and residences all over the world. Recently, he’s used his eye for balancing clean, functional aesthetics with individuality to launch a collection of indoor and outdoor furniture. His newest project in New York is 101 Wall, a 1930s Art Deco building in the Financial District. We spoke with Boon about the creative choices he makes when converting a former office building like 101 Wall into luxury condos, compared to designing a seaside estate.
